The Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Rochester is pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 essay contest for high school students.
The topic this year was responding to the phrase:
"Failure is Impossible"
first place, $250: Somayya Upal, Pittsford Sutherland HS
second place, $100: Jeishlamar Rojas, Young Women's College Prep Charter School
third place, $50: Rachel Gargan, Our Lady of Mercy High School
third place, $50: Fiona Morris, Our Lady of Mercy High School
Congratulations to the winners for their fine work.
The judges would like to note and praise the high-quality of all the submissions this year.
Due to Covid-19, we will instead be mailing certificates and checks to the winners.
